VPS Graduates Earn $1,000 Working with Youth

To the VPS Senior Class of 2022:

We are pleased to announce this awesome internship opportunity to all upcoming VPS graduates where you can earn $1,000! This internship is a great opportunity to give back to the community and to gain experience working with youth in an educational setting. You will be able to reengage with your former elementary school by participating in all sorts of activities such as the following:

  • Playground activity support
  • Shadow a teacher, counselor, or paraeducator
  • Small group or individual tutoring
  • And more!

As an intern for this program, you will act as a mentor and role model to students in kindergarten through fifth grade. You don’t have to have an interest in becoming a teacher, but if you are interested in working with youth and giving back to Vancouver Public Schools, this internship is for you!
