Leland Robertson left his home driving a silver / gray 2015 Subaru Forester bearing WA plates AWU5434.  He was last seen at SW Peace Health hospital at 0320hrs this date.   Mr. Robertson has health and hearing problems and gets lost easily per his family.  Mr. Robertson was last wearing a blue coat and blue jeans.

VPD seeks missing endangered child (Photo) UPDATED12/13/21

Richard has been located safely and returned to his family. 

The police are asking for assistance in locating 12 year old Richard Gran. Richard is described as a white male, 5’0, 100 lbs, brown hair and is autistic. The photo attached shows him with blonde hair, however it is closer to his natural brown hair. Richard wears glasses and was last seen walking from the mall area towards a school in the Felida area. He was last observed wearing a blue jacket over a bright blue and white hoody with gray sweatpants. If located, call 911.

The Vancouver Police will never call and ask for any type of donations over the telephone.  Please report any suspicious calls or contacts that could be related to this scam.  Also be cautious of all numbers not just the one listed above as subjects can use mutiple lines in a donation scam.

Vancouver Police media event for camera program testing and evaluation pilot launch12/06/21

Vancouver, Wash. –On December 8, 2021, the Vancouver Police Department is inviting members of the media to learn more about the testing and evaluation pilot launch of the department’s camera program. Ten officers will be equipped with body worn cameras and 6 vehicles will be equipped with a dash and rear passenger area camera. The pilot program to test and evaluate the equipment will last 60 days.

Time:      2:00 p.m.

Location: Vancouver Police Department West Precinct (2800 NE Stapleton Rd.)

Missing Endangered Person (Located) (Photo)12/03/21

Law enforcement and family are looking for 37 year old Zachary Childers who has not been seen since 1:00pm on Friday, December 3rd, 2021. 

Childers was last seen by a family member at the Goodwill Store located at 6425 NE Fourth Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA. He is autistic and forgets his name, where he lives, and becomes agitated when tired and hungry. He also has mental health issues and takes medication for medical issues. 

He is wearing a tan jacket, grey sweatpants, and black slip-on tennis shoes. Childers is carrying a wallet with his ID and address inside. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 225 pounds. He is balding with short brown hair and brown eyes. If you see him please call 911. VPD Case #2021-026110.

NOW Volunteers searched the area and their work led to Zachary being located at the Vancouver Mall. He was reunited with his family.

Vancouver Police arrest homicide suspect12/02/21

Vancouver, Wash. –On December 2, 2021, Vancouver Police, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the SW Washington Regional SWAT team, located and arrested Alexandro Bolton Manrero, 19 years of age, for Murder II in connection to the November 19th shooting death of Josue Isac Lopez Padilla. Manrero was booked into the Clark County Jail. 

The investigation is continuing and nothing further is being released at this time.

The Vancouver Police is seeking public assistance in locating a missing and endangered person. Norman Nielsen left his home in Vancouver, WA at about 0045 hours on 11-28-2021. He is an 89 year old white male, 6’01”, 186 lbs, green eyes, and brown hair. Norman was last seen wearing a green puffy jacket, blue jeans, black Puma sneakers, and wire rimmed glasses. He was driving a tan 1999 Toyota 4Runner, license plate OR YBA753. Norman has mental health issues, physical health issues, and may be experiencing a mental health episode causing him to be confused and disoriented. Anyone with information about Norman’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Vancouver Police Department. 

Vancouver Police investigate shooting11/23/21

Vancouver, Wash. –On November 19, 2021 at approximately 8:29 p.m., Vancouver Police were dispatched to 4931 NE 112th Ave after AMR personnel had been flagged down by a citizen reporting a person had been shot in the parking lot of that location. The victim, a 20-year-old male, was transported to an area hospital prior to police arrival. He did not survive his injuries. 

Detectives from the Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit are investigating. Nothing further is being released at this time.

Vancouver Police seeks missing mother and infant (Located Safe)11/23/21

Ms. Florendo and her son have been located and are safe.

The Vancouver Police Department is searching for Felicia Florendo, who has been missing from her Vancouver home since Saturday, 11-20-2021. Felicia left on foot with her 11-month-old infant son, Koa Florendo, but left behind her phone, purse, and necessities. Felicia is a Native American, 5 ft 3 inches, and about 90 lbs. She has brown eyes and brown hair currently dyed green. She was last seen wearing black pants and a black jacket. The infant was wearing a white or gray top and gray pants. Anyone with information about Felicia and her child are asked to call 911.
