
A two-alarm fire displaced four families from a Vancouver apartment complex early Saturday.
Firefighters sounded a second alarm after arriving at 12:30 a.m. Saturday to the 2900 block of East 16th Street in the Harney Heights neighborhood, according to press release from the Vancouver Fire Department. They saw flames leaping from the second story of a fourplex.
A total of 25 firefighters, including an engine company from Clark County Fire District 6, subdued the blaze in 30 minutes but continued to work for hours at the scene.
The Vancouver Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire’s cause
